Schrader Launches AirCheck BLE in North America: The First Universal Retrofit TPMS Kit for Light-Duty Vehicles

Innovative Tire Pressure & Temperature Monitoring Retrofit System is Now Available to Service Professionals for Retrofitting Light Duty Towable Trailers, RVs, Motorhomes and Other Vehicles Without Factory TPMS.

[Troy, MI] – July 2nd, 2025 – Schrader TPMS Solutions, the aftermarket brand of Sensata Technologies and a pioneer in tire pressure monitoring systems (TPMS), announced the launch of AirCheck BLE in North America—the first app based, universal retrofit TPMS solution offering OE-quality performance in a single, easy-to-install kit.

AirCheck BLE

Designed for tire retailers, RV dealers, independent mechanics and shop owners, AirCheck BLE enables real-time monitoring of tire pressure, temperature, and sensor battery status for vehicles without factory-installed TPMS, including towable trailers, RVs, motorhomes, and off-road vehicles. This latest innovation from Schrader bridges the gap between basic low performing and costly, vehicle-specific systems, while opening new revenue opportunities in safety-critical applications.

Engineered with professional installers in mind, AirCheck BLE combines Schrader’s next-generation Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) sensors with a powerful range extender to ensure exceptional signal strength (738ft) — even in high-interference environments or longer trailers. The system transmits real-time pressure and temperature data directly to a user-friendly mobile app, which supports Android Auto and Apple CarPlay for seamless in-dash visibility. The app also accommodates up to four axles, dual-tire configurations, and a spare tire, offering flexibility for a wide range of vehicle types. Installation is fast and intuitive, using QR-code activation and app-based handoff — no special tools or training required. One universal SKU simplifies inventory management, replacing multiple part numbers and reducing complexity at the counter.

AirCheck BLE delivers OE-quality performance with real-time mobile alerts that match the quality and responsiveness of factory-installed systems. It allows service professionals to offer a trusted safety upgrade to customers who previously lacked access to TPMS — particularly in the growing RV and towable market, where 90% of vehicles are not equipped with factory systems. With tire failures among the leading causes of roadside emergencies, AirCheck BLE is a critical safety solution that gives your customers confidence and peace of mind.

“AirCheck BLE will revolutionize service organizations’ ability to better serve customers by retrofitting their tires with a TPMS system that is easy to install and offers safety and usability for consumers,” said Kelly Sadler, VP and General Manager of Aftermarket Business at Sensata Technologies. “We saw a gap in the marketplace and are now delivering the first solution of its kind supported by our decades of TPMS innovation”.

Backed by over 40 years of TPMS leadership, Schrader brings unmatched technical credibility to the retrofit segment. From product development to the shop floor, Schrader’s legacy of precision, reliability, and safety ensures that AirCheck BLE delivers an OE quality experience — right out of the box.

AirCheck BLE is available now through Schrader’s North American aftermarket distribution network. For product details, installation videos, and ordering information, visit www.SchraderTPMS.com/AirCheck
