You might often hear customers asking: “Why does my vehicle need a TPMS system?” Having the correct answer to this question will help them understand the vital role the system plays in their safety and will help to build trust between your business and your customers.  

A TPM system's main role is to ensure tires remain properly inflated, while providing numerous benefits, such as:  

• Preventing accidents caused by underinflated tires. Studies show that each year, an estimated 250,000 vehicle crashes are caused by underinflated tires, which is nearly 700 crashes a day (NHTSA). 
• Saving the typical passenger car approx. 10 gallons of fuel every year. 
• Improving the way rubber meets the road by optimizing traction, handling, steering, stability, and braking.
